Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 1, 2026 · Last updated: June 1, 2026
Flolead ("Flolead," "we," "our," or "us") operates the website at flolead.io and the Flolead agent portal (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Agent applicants and approved agents. When you submit an application or create a portal account we collect your name, agency or brokerage name, work email address, phone number, licensed states, and payment card details (processed and stored by Stripe — we never see raw card numbers).
Portal usage. We collect login timestamps, pages visited, campaign configuration, and lead disposition actions you take inside the portal, primarily to operate and improve the Service and to support disputes.
Consumer lead data. We receive quote-request records from our lead generation sources. Each record contains the consumer's name, phone number, email address, and the coverage type they requested. Consumers have provided explicit, TCPA-compliant consent to be contacted. This data is delivered to one approved agent only and is not sold or re-shared.
Contact and application forms. If you submit a contact or application form we collect the fields you fill in (name, email, agency, message).
Automatically collected data. We collect standard web log data: IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages accessed. We use first-party analytics only — we do not use Google Analytics or third-party advertising pixels.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To review applications and communicate a decision.
- To provide, operate, and improve the agent portal.
- To deliver insurance leads to the agent who purchased them.
- To process payments and send billing notifications via Stripe.
- To send transactional email related to your account (new leads, dispute outcomes, billing receipts). We do not send marketing email without your separate consent.
- To investigate and resolve lead disputes.
- To comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell personal information. We share data only as follows:
- Service providers. Stripe (payment processing), SendGrid (transactional email), Twilio (SMS lead delivery), and our cloud hosting provider. Each is bound by a data processing agreement and may only use data to perform services for us.
- Lead recipients. Consumer lead data is transmitted to the single approved agent who purchased the lead.
- Legal compliance. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of Flolead, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected users by email or prominent notice on the Service.
4. Data Retention
We retain agent account data for the life of the account plus three years, or as required by applicable law. Consumer lead records are retained for dispute resolution purposes for 12 months after delivery, then deleted. Web log data is retained for 90 days.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures including TLS in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive fields, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we become aware of a data breach that affects you we will notify you as required by applicable law.
6. Cookies
We use only session cookies required for portal authentication. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this will prevent portal login from functioning.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to restrict or object to certain processing. To exercise these rights email privacy@flolead.io. We respond to all requests within 30 days. We do not discriminate against users who exercise privacy rights.
8. TCPA and Consumer Consent
Consumer records delivered as leads are collected from quote-request pages that include explicit consent language authorizing contact by phone and email regarding insurance quotes. Flolead retains consent documentation for each lead. Agents are solely responsible for their own outreach compliance, including any applicable TCPA, state do-not-call, and CAN-SPAM requirements.
9. Children
The Service is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have done so we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will post the revised policy with an updated effective date and, for registered agents, send notice by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
